Born in 1957 at a place called
Slough, England. I lived in and around the area for 20 years, attending
James Elliman Primary School and Slough Grammar School. In my final
school year, I had the opportunity to work with disabled children. This
work led me to change my mind about studying philosophy at university
and, instead, I trained as a teacher.
I gained my degree after
studying in Liverpool. My teaching career took me to Swindon, Worcester
and Gloucester before I moved on to work with Becta for a short while.I
It was while working in
Worcester, that I started training as a counsellor, eventually
completing my certificate at Birmingham. Later I trained as a life coach
with the UK College
